CARE is collaborating with event planners on a pilot to reduce waste and increase recycling at this event. This will be accomplished through messaging and by providing alternative products.
Run into Summer 5K Run plus an exciting Challenger Mile Health Run/Walk designed for people of all abilities to participate and enjoy the thrill of crossing the finish line.
The course starts at the Cape Cod Cooperative School on Bumps River Road and takes runners through a beautiful rolling course through Osterville. Race is USA Track & Field Certified and Licensed and chip timed.

The Challenger Club promotes year round healthy, active lifestyles to an underserved population and provides opportunities for inclusiveness, social interaction and personal growth. The Challenger Club has been providing free athletic, recreational, and social activities to Cape Cod’s special needs community for 15 years. The Challenge Club does not receive any federal, state, or social service agency funding and operates solely through grants, donations, and fundraising efforts. All proceeds from this event will be used to further support the mission and 100% of the funds will remain in the local community.
