We are excited to continue our work to reduce plastic and plastic pollution by sponsoring the bags for this year’s cookie stroll. Stroll along the streets of historic Bass River visiting homes and businesses that are open to be toured and collect a different cookie at each stop! Cookies are all home baked. You will receive a cloth bag to carry the cookies (if you don’t eat them at each stop!) and a booklet with the recipes. Tickets go on sale November 19. Each paper cookie bag will be sealed with a label that is compostable.
We care about using eco-friendly packaging. We use PURE Labels for our 100% biodegradable/recycled/recyclable labels, made by Elevate Packaging. We love our planet and know that each sustainable packaging choice we make matters!
So when you are done with your cookies the bags and labels can go in your backyard compost bin! We hope to see you at the stroll!
