Join CARE and US Army Corps of Engineers Park Rangers as we partner to present a socially-distanced community volunteer opportunity! Volunteers are asked to sign up to clean along the Cape Cod Canal, or tackle a beach of their choice to help keep Cape Cod clean and beautiful. Get outside and give back to our Cape communities this fall.
WHERE: Designated Cape Cod Canal (trash pick-up provided) see map for specific locations, or a beach location of your choice (trash pick-up NOT provided – you must carry out all trash collected if you choose a location outside the designated areas).

Collect litter and document it as you go

Team up and have one person pickup and call out the litter to the other person who logs it into the App.

PRIZES: Share photos of your cleanup – for example, you with your cleanup “pod” and collected trash bags, or any odd items you find – for a chance to win a prize pack from CARE. Just post your photos using the official event hashtags #TakeCareCapeCod and #ThinkLikeIts1620 to enter!
DONATE TO THINK LIKE IT’S 1620: Donations of $16.20 HERE or more are encouraged and will help to fund water filling stations on Cape Cod.
